Introduction

    Sam, Mike, and Buzz met in high school back in 1960 and they were inspired by many of the popular folk groups of the time such as the Kingston Trio, The Highwaymen, and Peter, Paul, and Mary.  They would practice for hours on songs like Cory-Cory until they developed their own style and their own sound.  Their first public performance was at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Francisco (www.abrahamlincoln-s62.com )back in 1961.
